KS3

During the Key Stage 3 learning journey, we want our students to explore a variety of voices across different historical, social and literary contexts.

We want our students to learn rich knowledge, through exposure to various forms of language and literature, that enables them to become critical, exploratory thinkers.

We want our students to continue to build on skills from KS1 & 2 around reading, writing, grammar and oracy.

We want our students to develop a confident and strong personal voice.

Their key stage 3 experience at Meden will set them up for continuing their learning journey at GCSE.

Below is information about our KS3 curriculum. Each drop down box contains the topics we cover. For more detail on the knowledge we teach, please click on each medium term plan. Our curriculum map shows the learning journey that our students embark upon.
