Attitude to Learning
Students are given an Attitude to Learning (ATL) score at key points throughout the year. These scores are based solely on a pupil's attitude to learning and not on behaviour or attainments. Staff use the following descriptors when grading a pupil's ATL score

ATL Stars of the week
Each week teachers from all subjects are asked to nominate someone who they feel has been their ATL star of the week. In order to mark this achievement, a postcard is sent home to each student and this is celebrated here on the website and on our school Twitter site.
Each term students in each year group who have gained the most ATL points and also who have improved the most are also rewarded and celebrated in this way.
