Business Studies Entrepreneurs – Bath Bombs Away
You may have already seen their pictures in The Chad as four Year 9 Business Studies students set up their own company selling products at a recent trade Fair in Mansfield. The budding entrepreneurs, Amelia Boldero, Jacob Johnson, Amelia Cook and Bradley Arnold had to plan, market and fund their own business with the intention of making huge profits and dreams of a future wealthy lifestyle.
As part of their GCSE Business Studies, Mr Brown’s Business students worked long hours producing Business plans / advertising campaigns and Accounts. On Wednesday 3rd July they set up their own stall selling luxury bath time products for the busy working people of Mansfield. Students competed with many others in Mansfield and their efforts will culminate at the Enterprise Award Evening which will be held at the end of July. Prizes will be awarded for Best Profit / Best Team / Best Service and Product.
Their day was immensely successful and despite spending a lot of their time being interviewed and filmed by various members of the Press and Paparazzi, they still managed to make a fantastic profit.
