Overwhelming Community Support

Many Donate to our Foodbank Appeal (Whole School - 11/12/2020)

This year has been really tough on so many levels and we were unsure of the response we would get when we launched our foodbank appeal this year. So many in our community struggle at this time of the year anyway and with the challenges of COVID-19 and so many people unable to work or that have lost their job, this year has really been tough. However our community always has a way of pulling together and helping one another!

When I say we are completely overwhelmed by the donations we have received, it is no exaggeration! Bags and bag of food items are being loaded in to our school minibus as we speak and will be dropped off at The Plough Inn, Warsop, this morning.

We cannot thank you enough for all your support! Money raised from today's non uniform/Christmas jumper day will also be given to the foodbank.
