Y13 6 Week Plans
Exam Revision 2024
As we approach the next half term, students in Year 13 will have their final lessons before the start of their exams. The next 6 weeks are important in preparing students for these exams which take place in May/June and students should take this opportunity to practice their revision strategies and techniques, so that we can support them to achieve their full potential and celebrate their success with them.
Teachers for all subjects have already made students aware of how to revise and have recapped the content they will be assessed on. Students have been provided with a wealth of information to enable them to revise. Examples of these are the use of Uplearn, exam walk-throughs, checklists of key content, and past exam papers to practice. This varies by subject and teachers have provided materials that are most relevant to their individual subject. There will also be materials on Teams for students.
To further support students in their preparations for these exams, and to provide you with as much information as possible about what is required of them, I have included below an overview of the exams for each academic A-Level subject. There is a summary of the papers for each subject, a checklist of areas to revise and a list of suggested revision materials.
