A sticker will go in their planner and a letter provided to ensure both parents and students know when the detention will take place. All students who fail to bring appropriate PE kit for their lesson will be provided with clean garments to ensure full participation in the lesson.

Physical Education is a legal requirement in the National Curriculum and your child is expected to participate in every lesson so that he/she can make the necessary progress in this subject.  If your child has a medical reason for not participating in PE, he/she must bring in a signed note explaining why they cannot do PE along with their PE kit. All pupils with a medical note will still be expected to get changed for PE and take part in the lesson as a coach or official. Failure to bring their kit or a note to explain why they cannot do PE will result in a C4 other detention.
